The marriage of Miss Ella Clark and Mr. Norr was solemnized at the Lindsey M.E. Church, Oct. 9th, 1917, by Rev. Grenfell. The couple will live at Bakerville.

Miss Margaretta and Elsie Walters were in attendance at teachers' institute at Marshfield on Saturday.

Miss Lillie Walters departed Saturday for Wild Rose to attend school.

Geo. Jones has established a shoe repair shop in the Hahm store building.

M.E. Aid Society met Thursday with Mrs. J. Crouch. On account of the storm the attendance was small.

Paul and Perry Hahm came out to their homes at Lindsey Sunday in Paul's auto.

P.J. Tilton was a Marshfield visitor on Saturday.

The potato market is brisk just now. Several buyers seem to be in the field and spuds have reached the dollar point.

The young people are looking forward to the Social Center Club to be organized here Tuesday night by some of the education force from the county seat.

Mrs. O'hara and two children from Chicago occupy apartments over Walter's store.

A Mr. Lawrence from Grand Rapids occupies the Hahm house in Lindsey.

The post office is now installed in the new quarters on the east side.
