Haas, Edward Joseph (27 SEP 1934 - 9 APR 1991)

Memorial services for Edward Haas, 56, Town of Worden, Route 3, Thorp, who died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 1991 at his home were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, 1991 at Thorp Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Powers officiated. There was no visitation.

He was born September 27, 1934 in Thorp, to Casper and Laura Haas. He was a Thorp High School graduate. He married Elizabeth Petruzates May 7, 1960 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Stanley.

He was a veteran of the Marine Corps. He lived in the Thorp area all of his life. He was a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Frank of Hayward, Mark of Spencer, Tom of Valders and Matt of Thorp; two daughters, Cheryl Berger of Black River Falls and Danyl Lato of Greenwood; five brothers, Dave, Henry, LaVerne and Casper Haas Jr., all of Thorp, and Dennis of Neenah; four sisters, Millie Smith of Thorp, Dorothy Butterfield of Wausau, Elaine Reynolds of Arizona and Bernice Seaman of Thorp; and eight grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, one son Jody and one sister.
