Lawrence E. & Maude M. (Wilbur) Howe

Maude M. Wilbur married Lawrence Edwin Howe in 1897.  She was born in *Antigo, Wisconsin to George & Emma (Bemis) Wilbur, April 23, 1876.   After she died of cancer at the Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis, October 10, 1930, she was buried in the Houghtonburg Cemetery, Alma Twp., Jackson Co., Wisconsin.  This couple had one daughter, Geneva Howe (b. abt. 1902).

Emma Bemis (Hiram Bemis , Jr.3, Hiram Bemis2, Lois Rhodes1) was born March 1, 1858 in Plainview, Wabasha, Minnesota, and died October 26, 1928 in Humbird, Wisconsin.  She was buried in Houghtonburg Cemetery, Alma Township, Jackson, Wisconsin. She married George Stanley Wilbur January 3, 1875 in Arcadia, Wisconsin. He was born October 7, 1850 in Sherman, Chautauqua County, NY, and died December 22, 1928.  He was buried in Houghtonburg Cemetery, Alma Township, Jackson Co, WI.

The children of Emma Bemis and George Stanley Wilbur are: 335 i. Maude Wilbur was born April 23, 1876, and died Oct. 10, 1930. She married L. E. Howe.
Adabelle "Ada" Wilbur was born January 18, 1882, and died January 1, 1973 in Lucas, Ohio.  She married Horace B. "Hod" Farnsworth who was born August 8, 1884, and died December 1, 1973 in Black River Falls, WI.
Mable Wilbur was born November 1, 1889 and married Tyler Merrill.

Carl Wilbur was born November 1, 1891, and died in the V.A. Hospital, Minneapolis, MN.  He married Harriet Bonicile Mueller who was born January 21, 1896, and died July 21, 1979.
Layton Oscar Wilbur was born December 10, 1895 in Humbird, WI, and died September 18, 1961. He married Jennie Mabel Aicher March 26, 1918 in St. Louis Park, MN. She was born June 3, 1895 in Lincoln, NE, and died March 8, 1981 in Minneapolis, MN.

Hazel Wilbur was born July 14, 1901, and died August 1, 1983 in Altoona, Eau Claire, WI. She married Henry Harris in Altoona, WI.  He was born February 22, 1895, and died July 1, 1984 in Dane, WI.

I noticed your posting concerning Maude (Wilbur) Howe that indicates she was born in *Antigo, Wisconsin. This disagrees with her death certificate (attached). I am wondering if you have a source that would confirm the Antigo reference?
