Enstad receives Kohl Scholarship

Neillsville High School student Adam Enstad received the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation 2011 Initiative Scholarship during a recognition luncheon U. S. Senator Herb Kohl hosted Sunday, April 10, at Chippewa Falls Middle School.

The Herb Kohl Initiative Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrated a high level of motivation, show strong promise for achieving success in college and beyond and overcame significant personal obstacles or adversity.

In 2011, the Herb Kohl foundation awarded 81 students throughout Wisconsin with $1,000 Initiative Scholarships.  Since the foundation was established in 1990, the Herb Kohl Educational Foundations has awarded $7.4 million to Wisconsin students, teachers and schools.
