Granton High Classes of “30 & ’31 (39-40th Reunion – 20 June 1970)
The graduating classes of 1930 and 1931 of the Granton High School held their
39-40th anniversary reunion at the Bali-Hai Supper Club on Saturday, June 20.
Following the 7:30 supper, Milo Mabie of Neillsville, acted as master of
ceremonies. He was assisted by Mrs. Edward Garbisch, Mrs. Douglas Crandall and
Mrs. Frederick Elmhorst.
Letters were read from absent members and teachers; the old school song,
“Faithful and True Hearted,” was sung by all; and a moment of silence was held
in memory of two deceased members, Mrs. Olive Wright McConnel and Jerome Bladl.
Among awards given was one to Ronald Winn of Pennsylvania for coming the
farthest distance. The rest of the evening was spent in reminiscing and
visiting.
Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar (Eileen) Dickerson) Bach of Frankfort, Ky.;
Mr. and Mrs. George Tjaden of Hendricks, Mn,: Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Winn of Camp
Hill, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Meta Moh) Harris of … (balance of this article
