Lillian Pauline Tomczak was born on August 1, 1925, in the Town of Withee, rural Thorp, and was the daughter of Anton and Martha (Mozinski) Tomczak. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at Pineland School. Lillian was united in marriage to Roman Letvinuck on June 30, 1943, at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp. They then moved to the Town of Reseburg, where they farmed and raised their family until Roman’s death on October 27, 1981. Lillian remained on the farm until her marriage to Casimir “Casey” Ruzak on May 21, 1988, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic church in Thorp. She then moved to the Town of Withee and lived many happy years, with Casey, until her death.

Lillian was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church and its PCCW. She enjoyed volunteering and helping out whenever possible.

Lillian enjoyed being on the go and doing things. In her spare time, she loved to travel, go fishing, and visit the casino. She enjoyed baking, canning, crocheting, crossword puzzles, collecting salt and pepper shakers, quilting, reading, and watching ‘Days of Our Lives.” Lillian loved to spend time with her family and friends, and always had a kind word and smile to share.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Casey, of Thorp; four children: Louise (George) of California, Fred Letvinuck (Cynthia McCann) of Greenwood, Chris Kieffer of Marshfield, and Ronald (Shirley) Letvinuck of Greenwood; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Roman; seven brothers: Tony, Frank, Joe, Walter, Mike, Ted, and Bernard Tomczak in infancy; and four sisters: Harriet Harrer, Florence Koch, Martha Jasinski and Helen Beck.
