Kadonsky, Amelia (8 OCT 1877 - 5 OCT 1963)

Mrs. John Kadonsky, 86, died at her home in the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.) Saturday evening, after a prolonged illness.

A general rosary services was held Monday evening at 8 o'clock at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, and on Tuesday morning, a mass of requiem was sung at St. Bernard's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Raymond B. Schulz officiating. Interment was made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Gordon Anderson, Bernard Heindl, Louis Luddecke, Clarence Ronld, Oscar Olson and George Scheibe.

Mrs. Kadonsky was born Amelia Umlauft Oct. 8, 1877 in Austria, and came with her parents to the town of Holton in 1882. She was educated in the former Draper School.

In 1914 she and John Kadonsky were united in marriage at Marshfield. They made their home on a farm in the town of Holton and resided there continuously. After Mr. Kadonsky's death in 1950, she lived there with her two sons, George and Clarence.

She was an honorary member of St. Bernard's Catholic Ladies' Altar Society and a member of the Holton Homemakers Club.

Surviving her, besides her two sons, are a nephew, Isadore Umlauft of Marshfield, and four grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded her in death.
