Haigh, Edna C. (30 November 1898 - 22 November 1967)

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Clarence Haigh, 68, of Neillsville, who died November 22 in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Rev. William Dushek of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Haigh, the former Edna C. Buker, was born November 30, 1898, in the Braun Settlement, near Greenwood. She attended rural school there. On March 30, 1920, she was married to Clarence Haigh in Greenwood. The family moved to Neillsville in 1951.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Owen C. Haigh of Neillsville and Deward D. Haigh of Reno, Nev. Other survivors include a brother, George Buker of Greenwood, and a grandson.

Pallbearers were: Charles Wasserburger, Ronald Henning, Ray Van Dreser, Harry Meinhardt, Erwin Geisler and Orlin Schwarze. Wilfred Galstad, accompanied by Miss Marilyn Galstad, sang, “I’m but a Stranger here” and “Abide with me.”
