Aderhold, Lyle (10 June 1925 - 15 January 2013)

Lyle Aderhold, 87, of Neillsville passed away Jan. 15, 2013, at the Neillsville Care & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born June 10, 1925, to Herman and Lela (Johnson) Aderhold. He was the youngest of four sons. He grew up on a farm in the Athens area and graduated from Athens high School. He was a good husband and a great dad. He liked to help around the house and was a big fan of “the Duke.” He will be remembered for his quick wit and story-telling ability. He traveled throughout his life and enjoyed many years with the Kiwanis.

Lyle is survived by his sons, Russell (Cheryl) of Wausau, James (Becky) of Neillsville, Keith (Ingrid) of Spokane, WA, and Kelly (Sandi) of Neillsville; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma (Werner), in 2007; and three brothers, Donald, Lloyd and Norman.

A private family service will be held in the Neillsville City Cemetery this spring.

Higgins Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, is assisting the family.
