Auman, Michael (13 March 1951 - 17 January 2013) With Flag

Michael Auman, age 61, of Stanley, passed away at home on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Michael was born March 13, 1951, in Stanley, the son of Marlen & Mary (Horounziak) Auman. He graduated from Tripoli High School and then served his country in the U. S. Army. After his discharge he raised his family and was recently employed selling insurance.

Mike is survived by his special friend, Anita Boos of Stanley; mother, Mary Auman of Chippewa Falls; two daughters: Amber (Rueben) Benavidez and Tiffany Auman, both of MI; one son, Michael (Maria) Hitt of FL; grandchildren: Aiden, Amelia and Emmett Benavidez, and Nathan and Emily Hitt; sister, Michelle Auman of Thorp; brothers; Eugene (Sharon) Auman of Mauston, Robert (Claudette) Auman of Fond du Lac, Larry Auman of Boyd, Dave Auman of Anchorage, AK, and Kevin (Rhonda) Auman of Thorp.

He was preceded in death by his father Marlen.

Services were held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, with Fr. Don Meuret officiating. Friends and family called from 4-6 p.m. prior to service time. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Thorp.
