Krause-Schultz
Miss Berdeanne Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz, and Ernest
Krause, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Krause, were united in marriage on Saturday,
May 10 in a ceremony rtad [sic] by Rev. H. C. Hinz at the Trinity Lutheran
Church at 2 P. M. It was also the 47th wedding anniversary of the bridegroom’s
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Matter of Spencer.
Norbert Boock was organist and Carol Gloff sang “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”
and “O Perfect Love.”
Attendants were Miss Mabel Schultz, sister of the bride, as maid of honor; Miss
Eunice Schultz and Miss Vila Krause, sisters of the bride and groom, and Miss
Carol Gloff and Miss Mildred Preising, bridesmaids; Franklin Krause who served
as his brother’s best man; Darrell Matter and Bernard Krause, an uncle and
cousin, respectively, of the groom, and Gerhardt Schultz, the bride’s brother,
groomsmen. Marjorie Krause and Norbert Schultz sister of the groom and brother
of the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer.
The bride wore a white satin and lace wedding gown and a long veil edged with
lace which fell from an orange blossom headdress. Her pearls were a gift from
the groom and she carried a shower bouquet of roses.
The maid of honor wore a blue lace and ninon frock. The four bridesmaids wore
similar dresses. Eunice chose yellow ninon, Vilva, blue ninon, Carol, blue satin
and net and Mildred yellow net. All wore flowers in their hair and carried arm
bouquets of spring flowers. Their pearls were gifts from the bride.
The little flower girl wore a white satin and net dress and a white ribbon in
her hair. Her basket of flowers was tied with a blue ribbon and her necklace was
a gift from the bride. Norbert carried the rings in a calla lily.
Following the ceremony, supper was served to 175 guests at the Schultz home
decorated with blue, yellow and white streamers and white wedding bells.
Table waitresses were Marcella Oehler, Ruby Justman, Cylinda Schwantes, Gertrude
Stelzl, Adeline Stelzel, and Blanche Toltzman.
Mrs. Schultz attended her daughter’s wedding in an aqua frock and matching
accessories while Mrs. Krause, the groom’s mother, was attired in a black dress
and black accessories. They had carnation corsages.
Mrs. Krause was graduated from the Unity Sigh [sic] School in 1943 and for the
past year and a half has been employed at the Central State Bank at Marshfield.
She expects to resign her position at the end of June. Her husband, a graduate
of the Spencer High School in 1941, is engaged in farming. For the present they
are residing with the groom’s parents.
Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Myron Krause and family, Knowles; Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Matter and family, Waupaca; Mr. and Mrs. Arden Douglas, Darrell Matter and Vila
Krause, Milwuakee; Fred Bubolz Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bubolz Jr., Reedsville;
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Boers and family, Ripon; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gauger and
family, Eloise Pischer, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Budtke and family, Mrs. Esther Gehrke
and family, Miss Mildred Preising, Miss Marcella Oehler, Marshfield; Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Gloff and family, Riplinger.

wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
