Diers, Gloria Jean (Baptism - 1 MAR 1964)
Two infants, both born on Feb. 18, 1964, were baptized Sunday afternoon at 2
o'clock at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, with the Rev. Raymond B.
Schulz officiating.
Gloria Jean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Diers of Abbotsford, had her
paternal uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Muehler of Carpentersville, Ill., as
her sponsors.
In honor of the occasion, Mr. and Mrs. Diers had Mr. and Mrs. Muehler and their
four children and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Diers of Athens as guests at dinner served
before the church ceremony.
