Volk, Perry (7 October 1895 - 13 May 1968)

Funeral services with Masonic rites are to be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal for Perry Volk, 72, who died Monday in St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield. He suffered an apparent heart attack. Burial will be made in the Loyal Cemetery.

Mr. Volk was born October 7, 1895, in Greenwood. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School, and was employed for a time after graduation by the city of Loyal as an electrician. He later worked for the Northern States Power Company, retiring in 1961.

He served in World War I with the 27th Infantry band of Marshfield. On July 16, 1924, he was married to the former Maude Etta, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Floyd, of Belleview, Wash
