Coyle, Marie (? MAY 1963)

Zion Lutheran Church was the scene of the wedding of miss Marie Coyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Coyle, Granton and Walter Foemmel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Foemmel, Sr., Chili.  The Rev. E.T. Keller, Pittsville, officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.  Yellow and lavender flowers decorated the altar and pews.

“The Wedding Prayer” and “The Lord’s Prayer” were sung by Mrs. Donald Bartsch and Miss Elsie Garbisch with organ accompaniment by Miss Ruth Garbisch.

Mrs. Marvin Oldham, Neillsville acted as maid of honor for her sister, bridesmaids were Joanne Dahl and Barbara Coyle.  A friend, Bill Broughtman, Minneapolis was best man and groomsmen were Silas Foemmel and Alan Sternitzky.  Debbie and Jack Foemmel served as flower girl and ring bearer.  Ushers were Erlin and Byrl Dahl.

Both the bride and groom have been employed at Minneapolis and will make their home there upon returning from a honeymoon.  They left by plane to visit Disneyland in California and will stop at Phoenix, Arizona to visit the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Grace Coyle.

A 4:30 supper was served at the parish hall to about 100 guests with a reception following the ceremony at the Erlin Dahl home.
