Kwiesielewicz, Joann M. (20 JUN 1964)

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church was the setting of the 10 a.m. double ring wedding ceremony of Joann M. Kwiesielewicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Kwiesielewicz, Lublin, to Stanley E. Wargolet Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wargolet Sr. of Thorp, on June 20, 1964.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a luxurious floor length gown of gleaming peau satin. Long tapered sleeves and scoop neckline accented the fitted bodice. Re-embroidered Alencon lace embellished with sequins and pearls adorned the front of the gown from Neckline to hemline. The controlled skirt was swept into a chapel train captivated at the waistline by a large bow. She carried an orchid bouquet surrounded by bits of carnations, and pale yellow rosebuds accented the long streamers.

Miss Valerie Kwiesielewicz was her sister's maid of honor wearing a maize street length dress with a long overskirt. A scoop neckline and short sleeves accented the fitted bodice complemented by a midriff. The bouffant overskirt featured a petal front captivated by small bows. A crown of Pearl with pearl drops held her blush veils.

Similar dresses in Nile green were worn by the bridesmaids, Miss Corrine Krall, Thorp, friend of the bride, Miss Dorothy Lato, Eau Claire, cousin of the groom, and Miss Susan Lisiecki, Lublin, cousin of the bride. They carried cascades of carnations tinted to match their dresses.

Robert Wargolet, Thorp, groom's brother, was best man, and attendants were Lawrence Urban, Thorp, friend of the groom, and Anthony Kwiesielewicz, , Lublin, brother of the bride.

A reception for 600 guests was held at St. Hedwig's Parish Hall, Thorp, and music was furnished by Jerry's Band.

Out of town guests were from Milwaukee, Brookfield, Chicago, Owen, Withee, Stevens Point, Colby, Gilman, Cudahy, Eau Claire, and Michigan City, Ind.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Thorp High School, class of '62.

The bride, up to this time, has been employed at the Farmers' Cooperative, Thorp, and the groom is a maintenance man at Continental Can Corp., Milwaukee.

After a honeymoon trip to Hayward, Wis., the couple will make their home at 5909 N. Teutonia Av., Apt. 1, Milwaukee 9, Wis.

The bride's mother chose a pink brocade dress with white accessories and the groom's mother chose a pink lace dress with white accessories. Both wore corsages of yellow tea roses.
