Jackson, Carolyn Ruth (Marriage - 1 June 1968)

Christ Lutheran Cathedral in Eau Claire was the setting for the double ring ceremony Saturday uniting in marriage Carolyn Ruth Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Stocks of Eau Claire, and Darwin R. Smith of Eau Claire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bergen Smith of Neillsville. Dean Brent performed the nuptial ceremony at 4 p.m.

The bride given in marriage by Mr. Stocks was attired in a street-length white and pastel green taffeta dress with lace cuffs. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

Mrs. Barbara Ross, in yellow chiffon, was matron-of-honor. She carried a bouquet of green carnations.

Duane Smith of Kenosha was bestman.

Twenty five guests attended a reception held at a restaurant. The bride is a sophomore at Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire, and the groom is a senior there. They will make their home at 1250 Graham Ave. Eau Claire.
