Mueller, Matilda M. (24 Sept. 1913 – 18 Oct. 2008)

STETSONVILLE -- Matilda M. Mueller, 95, of Medford, formerly of Dorchester, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Our House Assisted Living in Medford under the care of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Inc.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church in Stetsonville. Matilda was born Sept. 24, 1913, on the family farm in Stetsonville to Reynold and Josephine (Vogt) Riegert. She married Joseph Mueller on Sept. 27, 1937, in Stetsonville. She and Joseph moved to Milwaukee and while living there, she worked at various jobs in the Milwaukee area. In 1971, they moved to Marshfield for one year and then settled in Dorchester.

Matilda is survived by a sister, Rose Riegert of Stetsonville; and a brother, Edward (Norma) Riegert of Medford. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
