Neumueller, Adolph G. (8 May 1893 – 1 Nov. 1987)

MEDFORD – Adolph G. Neumiller, 94, Medford, died a 1 a.m. Thursday at the home of his son, Bob, in the town of Medford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford, with the Rev. Warren Behling officiating.

Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery where American Legion military graveside rites also will be held.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until services at the church.

He was born May 8, 1893, in Whittlesey, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Neumueller. He attended Whittlesey area schools.

He worked on road construction projects, and around the Midwest as an engineer, working on boiler heating systems.

He married Minnie Diels June 18, 1924, at St. Paul’s Church, Medford. She died June 28, 1985.

In 1927, Mr. Neumueller began working for Hurd Millwork Co., where he was employed for 41 years. He retired in 1968.

He and his wife built their house on Madison Street in Medford in 1925 and had lived there since.

Mr. Neumueller was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I, serving stateside. He also was a 63-year member of St. Paul’s Church and a member of Landua-Jensen American Legion Post 147, Medford.

Surviving, besides his son, Bob, are one other son, George, Waterford; one sister, Emilie Nelson, Fergus Falls, Minn.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and one great-grandson.
