Tomandl, Kristin M. (Seppi) (January 2, 1968 - July 21, 2010)

Kristin M. Tomandl, 42, Medford, died Wednesday, July 21 at Memorial Health Center emergency room in Medford, where she had been taken earlier by ambulance.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 26 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers were Stacey and Ryan Seppi, Joe and Sam Tomandl, Jeremy Goessl and Lee Hraby.


The former Kristin Seppi was born January 2, 1968 in Hibbing, Minn., to the late Ernest L. and Rosalind E. (Rantala) Seppi. She was a 1986 graduate of Marshall High School in Marshall, Minn., and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in environmental science.


On June 20, 2007 in Medford, she married Michael "Mike" J. Tomandl, who survives. She worked at The Star News in Medford, where she was a receptionist and in sales for a couple of years. She also helped her husband on the family dairy farm for the past 2-1/2 years.


She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, gardening, walking with her dogs, traveling and reading.


In addition to her husband, survivors include, two brothers, Stacey of Alaska and Ryan of Arizona; a sister Stephanie Seppi of Minnesota; paternal grandmother, Mary Seppi of Buhl, Minn.; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Frazier of Medford, Jessica Frazier of Minnesota, Carley, Abbey and Joey Tomandl, all of Medford, and Sarah and Rachel Tomandl of Cameron; father- and mother-in-law, Joe and Debbie Tomandl Sr. of Medford; two brothers-in-law, Joe (Chris) Tomandl Jr. of Medford and Sam (Lana) Tomandl of Cameron; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family to be designated at a later date.
