Obscherning, Fritz F. (November 15, 1904 - January 16, 1996)

Stetsonville - Fritz F. Obscherning, 91, of Lander, Wyo., formerly a town of Deer Creek resident, died Jan 16, 1996, at Lander Valley Medical Center, Lander Wyo.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville, burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Nov. 15, 1904, in Germany. He farmed in the town of Deer Creek for 44 years, retiring in 1971.

Survivors are two daughters, Mary Vircks of Lander, Wyo., and Ursula (Will) Petrell of Embarrass, Minn; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a brother, Ernest Obscherning of Medford.
