Isch, John (October 1, 1936)

“Sons And Daughters Of The Congregation Who Entered The Teaching Ministry”

John Isch, son of the late Delbert and Lucille Isch of Medford, was born at Park Falls, Wisconsin, on October 1, 1936.

He attended our Christian Day School and graduated and confirmed in 1950.

In the fall of 1950, he entered Dr. Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, Minnesota and graduated in 1954.

Thereupon he entered Dr. Martin Luther College and graduated in 1958 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Education.

His first call was from St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Plymouth, Nebraska, where he taught until 1966.

In 1960, he then accepted a call to Immanuel Lutheran School in Hadar, Nebraska.

In 1970, he receive his call as professor to Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. This position embraces teaching method courses and supervisory of student teaching.
