Walhart, Fred (? - 15 July 1934)

Mr. Fred Walhart Sr., a pioneer settler in the vicinity of Stetsonville, passed away at the St. Joseph hospital in Marshfield Sunday evening, July 15. He had been ailing about three weeks.

Mr. Walhart was born in Switzerland and came to this country when a young man, settling in the vicinity of Stetsonville.

He leaves to mourn: Fred Jr., and Albert Walhart and Mrs. George Balmer of Stetsonville; Mrs. Andrew Van Epps of Dodgeville, William Walhart of Colby, Ernest Walhart of Spencer, Walter Walhart and Mrs. Don Ingersoll of Abbotsford. His wife and one daughter preceded him in death.

He was laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery at Stetsonville, Wednesday July 18.
