Lindahl, Gail L. (Christianson) (February 20, 1957 - January 4, 2012)


Gail L. Lindahl, 54, Medford, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at her home.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 7 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, with Rev. James H. Babler officiating. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II at a later date. Pallbearers were family members, Adam Lindahl, Paul, Mark, Dennis Christianson, and J.D. and Troy Harries.


Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.


The former Gail Christianson was born on February 20, 1957 in Medford to Rodney D. and Beverly "Bev" Christianson.

She attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Medford, Medford area elementary schools and was a 1975 graduate of Medford High School. After her education, she worked as a medical assistant for Dr. V. Uhri, Dr. James Robinson and later the Medford Clinic.


On April 28, 1978 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, she married Lloyd A. Lindahl, and they were later divorced.

She worked as a medical assistant at the Marshfield Clinic, and was also a first responder for the Marshfield Clinic.


She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and American Association of Medical Assistants. She enjoyed playing cards, gambling, gardening and her grandchildren.


Survivors include her mother, Beverly Christianson of Medford; three children, Eric (partner Donny Baiocchi) of Chicago, Ill., Adam (Mindy) of Medford and Darcy (fiancé Jeremy Wall) Lindahl of Augusta; a sister, Jeanette (J.D.) Harries of Medford; three brothers, Paul of Wausau and Mark (Gloria) and Dennis (Patti), both of Medford; and two grandchildren, Cory and Kayelee Lindahl of Medford.


She was preceded in death by her father.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the family for future designation.
