Lang, Nina B. (3 Apr. 1900 - 2 Dec. 1996)

Nina B. Lang, 96, of Marshfield, died at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 2, 1996, at the Marshfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thur. at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel. The Rev. Linden M. Nelson, chaplain of St. Joseph’s Hospital Spiritual Services Department, will officiate.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Relatives and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thur. at the funeral chapel.

Nina was born April 3, 1900, in Wausau, the daughter of John T. and Ida Belle (Phillips) Morgan. She attended Wausau elementary schools and was a graduate of Wausau High School.

She was married to Theodore H. Lang on Aug. 27, 1926, in Wausau. After their marriage, the Langs resided in Wausau and Antigo, and later in Marshfield.

Nina was a wife, mother and homemaker. Her husband was engaged in the oil distribution business. She served as co-manager of the business from 1948 until retirement in 1958.

After the death of her husband, Nina continued to live in Marshfield until the present time.

She was a former member of the Eastern Star and the United Commercial Travelers Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Ronald A. (Patti) Lang of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a daughter, Mary C. (Daniel) Scheuren of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Christopher Lang, Michele Lang, Allan Krohn and Renee Faust; two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Bobbie; and two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Lang and Martha Lang, both of Marshfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband on March 4, 1973; two sons who died in infancy, her parents, and two brothers, Ray and Clarence Morgan.
