Backus, Anna (22 Apr. 1887 - 27 Nov. 1975)
Services were at 3 p.m. Sun. at Immanuel Lutheran Church for Mrs. Adolph (Anna) Backus, 88, of 109 W. 12th St. She died Thur. morning at the Marshfield Convalescent Center.
The Rev. Eldore F. Messerschmidt, pastor, conducted the services. Music was provided by Mrs. Walter Embke, vocalist, and Paul Muehl, organist.
Burial followed in Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Pat Seubert, Joel Anderson, Thomas Frank and Robert, Stanley and Jeris Backus.
