Death of Mrs. Phila Renne

Marshfield Times: Mrs. Phila Renne, the head of one of the best known families in Wood county, died at her home in the Nasonville district at about eleven o'clock on the evening of January 1st at the advanced age of ninety-four years. She passed away peacefully in the midst of relatives and friends. Mrs. Renne has resided in this county for over forty years and was probably the oldest resident, surviving her husband who was a prominent pioneer, by many years. She leaves the following children: Edward S. Renne of Grand Rapids, county clerk of Wood county, Charles Renee of Oregon, Hiram Renne of Spokeville and Mrs. W. G. Nason. She was also the mother of Mrs. S. L. Nason and Martin Renne, deceased. The funeral will take place from the residence at 2 o'clock Sat.afternoon.
