Rumors say that Staadt is soon to have a store with a first class business man at the head of it who contemplates buying everything the farmer has to sell. This will certainly be a great boon to the people of this vicinity.

G. Krauter is contemplating a trip to Washington about the first of March, where he will join his brother Fred and probably make his future home there. We all hope he will have success in his venture although we deeply regret having him leave our circle.

L. J. Beedon, Ashland, Wis., was struck on the point of the elbow by a bolt in a high speeded pulley, cutting off a piece of the bone and nearly severing a muscle. He kept the wound dressed with Cole's Carbolisalve and in two weeks he was at work again. Cole's Carbolisalve is the perfect cure for wounds and sores. 25 by R. J. Strauss.
