Curtin, Chase (Quilt - 2019)

Chase Curtin shows his sewing project for this year’s Clark County Fair. The starting strip was an estimated 1,600 inches long for this Halloween-themed-jelly-roll race quilt top. Chase will give the quilt to his dad as a birthday present Oct. 14. Nancy Curtin/Clark County Press

Another successful year for exhibits. Chase’s fish anatomy poster earned him a blue ribbon and the quilt top earned him a red. Since he didn’t submit a finished quilt, he needed to finish the edges of the quilt top by “pinking” them. We didn’t know that. Either way, I cannot express enough how proud I am!
