	Frances L. Gosse, age 86, of Colby, passed away on Friday, September 27, 
	2019 at the Colby Retirement Community under the tender care of hospice. 
	
	A Private Graveside Service will be held at Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
	
	Frances was born on December 18, 1932 in Colby, the daughter of Oscar and 
	Martha (Hanne) Schauer. She graduated from Abbotsford High School. Frances 
	was united in marriage to Arvin Gosse on August 9, 1952 at Christ 
	Evangelical Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. They were married for 65 years. 
	He preceded her in death on January 28, 2018.
	
	Frances worked a few years at Dorn’s Furniture in Abbotsford then at 
	Abbotsford Our Own Hardware Store. She was a member of Christ Lutheran 
	Church.
	
	Frances is survived by her two daughters: Judy Gosse of Blanchardville and 
	Debby (Dick) Allmann of Colby; two granddaughters, Kristen (Chris) Knutson 
	of Verona and Melissa (Randy) Raasch of Mosinee; two great-grandchildren: 
	Wyatt and Abby Raasch. She is further survived by a brother, Willard (Pat) 
	Schauer of Abbotsford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
	
	She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arvin; a son-in-law, 
	Paul Bruger; a brother, Don Schauer and a sister, Ruth Bunkelman.
