Svenson, Betty I. (23 OCT 1924 – 9 MAY 1997)
OWEN — Betty Irene Svenson, 72, of the town of Hixon, Withee, died at May 9,
1997, in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1924, in Zion, 111.
She had been a homemaker and farm wife.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Svenson of Withee; a daughter, Suzanne
(Donald) Sanders of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; a brother, Robert (Mariam)
Rettig of Hartford; a sister Shirley (Robert) Merolla of Asheville, N.C.;
and one grandchild.
