Harycki, Edward (31 MAR 1907 – 9 MAY 1995)

THORP — Edward Harycki, 88, Thorp, died May 9, 1995, at his home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard-Hedwig's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Thursday at the Thorp Funeral Home.

He was born March 31, 1907, in Thorp, and had been the Thorp police chief and a Clark County deputy sheriff.

Surviving are his wife, Fern Harycki of Thorp; four sons, William Harycki and Sylvester Harycki, both of Thorp, Francis Harycki of Rice Lake and Edward Harycki Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; two step-sons, Ted Kuehl and Viles Kuehl, both of Eau Claire; one daughter, Joan Jablonic, of Anoka, Minn.; three step-daughters, Louise VonHalen and Eda Potter, both of Eau Claire, and lone Niehoff of Durand; one brother, Stanley Harycki of Thorp; 32 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren.
