Krueger-Pecher, Laura A. (Krueger) (4 DEC 1947 - 8 OCT 2019)

Laura A. Krueger-Pecher, age 56, of Eau Claire, formerly of Abbotsford, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Clearwater Care Center in Eau Claire.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Family and friends are welcome from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Laura was born on August 4, 1963, the daughter of Ronald and Carol (Smazal) Krueger in Marshfield. She graduated from DC Everest High School in Weston in 1981 and received a BS degree in Print Journalism from UW-Eau Claire in 1985. Laura was united in marriage to James Pecher on September 3, 1988. They later divorced. She worked as a CNA at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. Laura enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, listening to 80’s music, playing scrabble, watching movies and birds. Her passion was writing. Most importantly, she cherished her family.

Laura is lovingly survived by her two children: Brandon Pecher (Molly Berg) of Eau Claire and Kayla (fiance’ Zane Nelson) Pecher of Bremerton, WA; her father, Ronald of Abbotsford; six siblings: Kevin Krueger, Mary Pohlman, Dale Krueger, Rhonda Grabko, Sharon Miller, and Kasey Krueger. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Nancy Mast.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are preferred to the family.
