Miller, Linette Gene (Marriage – 9 August 1975)

Miss Linette Gene Miller and Wedell Wayne Kuhn exchanged marriage vows Saturday, August 9, in a 3 p.m. ceremony performed at the Neillsville United Church of Christ by the Rev. Gary Clark. Afterwards, the couple greeted guests at a reception at the American Legion Hall.

The bride presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller, Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kuhn, Rt. 1 Neillsville, are the groom’s parents.

An arrangement of lavender orchids with stephanotis and greenery complimented the bride’s gown of satapeau styled with a standup collar and curved yoke covered with lace accented with pearl beading. A wide flounce of lace bordered the long-train.

Flowered voile in shades of blue and lavender fashioned the gowns work by Miss Margaret Landino, maid of honor, and Miss Janice Miller, bridesmaid. Their flowers were lavender daisies and baby’s breath with greenery.

Attending the groom were Mark Moennig as bestman and Kenneth Kuhn as groomsman. Guests were seated by Glen Miller of Sparta and Bruce Rakestraw.

Mrs. Beulah Zoutendam was the organist and Miss Diane Havlicek, the soloist.

The new Mrs. Kuhn is a 1969 graduate of Neillsville High School. Her husband graduated from the same school in 1970. Both are employed in Neillsville. They are living at 15 Huron St.
