Van Horn, Frank (9 April 1892 – 30 July 1975)

Frank Van Horn, 83, of Hixton, died, July 30, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Mr. Van Horn was a mailman in Hixton prior to coming to the Tioga area, where he operated a general merchandise store for a good many years. He was well known in the Tioga and Willard area.

He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Methodist Church in Hixton, with burial there.

Funeral services were held for Frank Van Horn in the Alma Center Methodist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Calvin Carey. Music was provided by Richard Rousey, vocalist, and Sara Rousey, organist.

Burial followed in Trinity Rest Cemetery at Hixton, with Alma Center Legion Post and VFW military rites.

Pallbearers were Samuel, James and Michael Van Horn, Melvin Niemi and Russell Johnson.

Mr. Van Horn was born April 9, 1892 and died on July 30, 1975 in Neillsville at the age of 83.
