Loretta M. Peters, 60, of Hixton, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1941 in Sparta to Harold and Lucille (Beltz) Yahnke. She was raised in Monroe County, and she married Joseph Peters in Black River Falls on may 13, 1959.

Surviving are her husband Joseph, two sons, Joseph Jr. (Terry) of Cambridge, and Mike (Terri) of Whitehall; two daughters, Carolyn (Wade) Bertelsen of Blair, and Cindy (Steve) Larson of Whitehall; four sisters, Beverly (Harry) (and the balance of the obit is missing.)
