Volovsek, Mr./Mrs. William (Silver – 26 AUG 1975)

On Sunday, August 31, 1975, friends and relatives from Hodgkiss, Illinois, West Allis, Franklin, Oshkosh, Butte Des Morte, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Neillsville, Greenwood, Thorp, Spencer, Stratford, and Loyal gathered at Holy Family Church Shelter in Willard (Clark Co., Wis.) to help Mr. and Mrs. William Volovsek celebrate their 25th anniversary.

The former Bernice Schnitzler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roma Schnitzler, Marshfield, and William Volovsek, son of Mrs. Anna Volovsek, and the late Frank Volovsek Sr. of Willard, exchanged marriage vows on August 26, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield.

Attendants at the ceremony were Mrs. Eileen Funk, Elkhorn, Mrs. Betty Fraid, West Allis, John Volovsek, Superior, Don Schnitzler, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Volovsek, Franklin.

The day's festivities included a mass at 10:30,with renewal marriage vows, a dinner at their home for immediate family, and a reception and supper at the church, followed by a mock wedding and dance at the West Side Hall.

Children of the couple are Mrs. Ed (Diane) Klinke, Neillsville, Mike, Spencer, and Nancy and Shari at home.
