The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stetzer, Route 1, Black River Falls, wore a gown of sheer white organza with a scooped neckline, covered by sheer mandarin, long bishop sleeves, natural waistline and bouffant skirt with lace gorette. She carried a cascade of pink and white mums.

For her attendants, the bride chose Miss Ellen Perry as maid of honor, Mrs. Marvin Oesau, Jr. and Mrs. Gary Stetzer served as bridesmaids. Their gowns were empire styled of dotted swiss over green taffeta, fashioned with short puffed sleeves. The each carried bouquets of pink and white mums.

The groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Peterson, Route 1 Black River Falls, chose Steven Peterson as his best man, Marvin Oesau, Jr. and Gary Stetzer served as groomsmen. Dennis Johnson and Richard Murphy seated the guests.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church parlors.
