Erickson, Lawrence A. (3 Jan. 1939 – 6 January 2010)

 

Lawrence A. Erickson, 71, of Muskego died peacefully at home Jan. 6, 2010.

 

Lawrence was the son of Melvin and Ona Erickson, who farmed in Mill Creek Valley until moving to Milwaukee.  Lawrence went to grade school at Mill Creek Country School and attended and graduated from Melrose high School.  He was the starting center on Melrose High School’s first football team.

 

He was the husband of Judy (nee Robinson) for 48 years; dear father of Regina (Terry) Morrow, Jodi (Fran) Jaeger and Nicholas (Vicki) Erickson; proud “Papa” of Kylie, Alexa, Ariel, Bailey, Aubrey and Delaney; and brother of Evelyn (Wayne) Robinson and Judy (Harley) Binon.  He is also survived by many relatives in this area, the Ramseys and the Sterns.  He will also be missed by many other relatives and friends.

 

A visitation was held at Atonement Lutheran Church, S70 W16244 Martin Dr., Muskego Saturday Jan. 9, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.  The funeral service followed at 3 p.m.
