August P. Engel (1903± - 11 March 1960)

Services for August P. Engel, 57, of 3956 N. 64th St., will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Bistricky Chapel, 6709 W Capitol Dr., and at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The body will be in state after 4 p.m. Monday and a vigil will be at 8 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Engel was fatally injured early Friday in a Milwaukee car accident which also took the life of his son-in-law, Henry H. Hamm.

Mr. Engel was a plumber and was a member of the Plumbers and Gas Fitters Union Local 75.

Surviving are his Wife, Oliva; five daughters, Mrs. Angeline Hamm, Mrs. Sylvia Clark, Mrs. Eleanor Howard, Mrs. Joyce O'Connor and Miss June Engel, all of Milwauke; his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Engel, of Dorchester, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Ploeckelman, of Dorchester, Mrs. Anna Gutenberger, of Colby, Wis., Mrs. Margaret Williams and Mrs. Evelyn Beyer, both of Milwaukee, and four brothers, Michael and George, both of Milwaukee; Nick, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. and LeRoy, of Dorchester.
