Oelrich, Eleann Mae (1947)

Reineking-Oelrich

Miss Helen Reineking sang “Oh Perfect Love” for the wedding of her brother John Reineking, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Reineking, to Eleann Mae Oelrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oelrich, at the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents. The Rev. A. C. Staple officiated and Norbert Boock, the bride’s brother in law played the “Bridal Chorus” from “Lohengrin” for the service.

The bride was dressed in a white ninon gown with lace bodice and sleeves, and she carried a bouquet of red roses and swansonia. Her three quarter length veil was attached to a lace tiara and was edged with the same lace as her dress.

Miss Bonnie Ann Oelrich, a sister of the bride, was chosen as maid of honor, she wore a white gown and had a corsage of red roses and has roses in her hair.

Miss Margaret Reineking, the groom’s sister, was bridesmaid. She was dressed in a aqua gown, wore a corsage of red roses, and had roses pinned in her hair. Both wore rhinestone bracelets, gifts of the bride.

Elmer Oelrich, Janesville, was best man and Vernon Stevens was groomsman.

The bride’s mother was attired in pale green crepe with white accessories, and had a corsage of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Reineking wore navy blue with navy accessories and had a corsage of pink carnations.

Approximately 100 guests were present at the 5 o’clock dinner served in the Lutheran church basement.

A large three-tier wedding cake centered the table. Spring flowers and lighted tapers were used as decoration. A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents, aqua and white streamers and white wedding bell decorations were used.

Before her marriage the bride was employed at Macson’s Photo Service in Marshfield. The groom is a machinist at Murphy Diesel in Milwaukee. They will be at home to friends after July 1 at 1924 Jalena street, Milwaukee.

The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
