Tommy Markus (Born ? - Died ? )

Tommy Markus, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Markus, Medford, was fatally injured early Wednesday when the car in which he was riding upset in the ditch on Highway 13 near the Henry Gebert place north of the village (Dorchester, WI). Critically injured in the mishap was Don Jentzsch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jentzsch, Medford, who was still in a semi-comatose condition at the Medford hospital this (Thursday) morning. Hospital authorities said, however, that he was “reacting partially” to treatment.

Two other youths, Don Kristy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kristy, and driver of the car, and Conrad Amacher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Amacher, also injured in the accident, were definitely improving today at the Medford hospital. They too are from Medford. The Markus lad died about 6 a.m. Wednesday.
