Mr. Harvey Rosenquist and daughters, Joane and Judy, of Waukegan, Ill., and Mr. Larry Wist of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., were visitors at the Clarence and Albert Schultz and Anna Tonn homes during the Christmas holidays.

Mrs. Morris Klemetson called at the Eda and Roy Ostenson home on New Years Day.

Miss Sandra Knik visited with friends at Kenosha the past week.

Mrs. Bertha Peterson left for Chicago on Thursday evening.  From there she will take a plane to San Francisco, Calif., where she will spend the winter with her sons.

Mrs. Natalie Freese of Oxford, Wis., visited at the Grant Herrick home on Thursday.

Mrs. Elizabeth Buss accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schneider of Greenwood to Ladysmith on New Year’s Day where they visited at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schneider.

Mrs. E. M. Peterson returned from Madison on Friday after spending the holidays with her son, Prof. Arthur Peterson, and family.

Mrs. Tom Brady and daughters of Montello spent New Year’s Day here.  Her mother, Mrs. Anna Peterson, who had spent Christmas in Montello returned with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz and Paul Schultz drove to Sheboygan on Saturday to attend funeral services for the latter’s brother-in-law, Bernard Wilke.

Mr. John Meschefske of Medford and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Meschefske and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Jr. Meschefske and family of Stetsonville were guests at the home of Mrs. Anna Tonn on Sunday.

Mrs. Eleanor Podgorski of Winnetka, Ill was a house guest at the home of Mrs. Carla Lien during the holidays.

Mr. Lester Krueger has purchased a trailer home and placed it on the Charles Frane lot.  He expects to move into it in the near future.

A farewell party was held at the fire hall on Saturday in honor of Pete Krause, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Krause, who will leave for the Army soon.
