Aug. Gotter and daughter Selma transacted business at Neillsville on Thursday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. N. Schmitz of Green Bay are here in response to the message of the serious illness of his brother Walter Schmitz.

Chas. Heckert of Appleton was a visitor at O.W. Becker’s recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Reisner are rejoicing over the arrival on Saturday of an eight pound girl.

Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Pusheck of East Lynn were callers at Ed Sternitzky’s one day last week.

Miss Hepner of Forest Junction is the guest of Mrs. Frances Steinbach.

Mrs. Ralph Mayhew visited town friends last Thursday.

Miss Addie Breseman came home from Granton Saturday.

T. Haddican of Neillsville is finishing up the job of putting in the Acetylene lights for John Martin.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Opelt, of Lindsey, visited friends at this place one day last week.

Chas. Brooks and daughter Vivian Sundayed at Geo. Brooks.

Mrs. WM. Yorkston of Oxford is here on a visit to her parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Brooks.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson expect to leave for Morristown, S.D. in the near future where they will make their future home.

Mrs. Herbert House of Lindsey was a visitor of Mrs. R.T. Washburn Wednesday of last week.

Ernest Sternitzky spent several days with East Lynn relatives late last week.

Richard Gotter was a Marshfield visitor between trains Saturday.

W.C. Beecher who has been sick and confined to his bed with an attack of pneumonia for the past week is able to be about again.

Mrs. Nankivel and nephew Robert of Nasonville were business callers here recently.

Miss Lydia Scier came over from Marshfield and spent Saturday night at J. Altenburg’s.

Miss Martha Nitschke returned home late last week after a 2 weeks visit with friends on the Ridge.

Miss Arneson is preparing her school for an entertainment Friday evening.  There will be speaking and each lady is expected to bring a basket or box with lunch enough for two which will be sold at auction.  There will be a fish pond and other entertainments.  The proceeds to be used for school purposes.  Everybody is cordially invited to come and help a good cause along.

Henry Sternitzky returned from his trip to Madison the latter part of last week.

P.G. Hoist of Veedum transacted business in this place the latter part of last week.

Geo. Ward of Babcock was a caller on R.T. Washburn between trains Monday.

Max Opelt transacted business at Marshfield Tuesday.

Henry Winter shipped a carload of oats to Milwaukee Monday.

A large number of bolts for the Lynn Heading mill are shipped in by rail from Cary, Romadka and Harris Spur.

Mr. and Mrs. Beecher of Granton visited their son, Wella and family Sunday.
