Alma Gipp (19 Aug 1877 – 11 Jun, 1956)

Dorchester – The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at services for Mrs. Alma Gipp, 78, Dorchester, whose death occurred June 11 at the Medford Hospital. The rites were held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church here.

“Asleep in Jesus” and “Just As I Am” were sung by the Ladies Aid choir and Ruth Krueger, Fern Krueger, Sharon Sauter, and Nancy Laabs. Mrs. Max Vircks played the organ accompaniment.

Interment took place in Dorchester Memorial cemetery. Pallbearers were two grandsons and four nephews, Roger Smith, Quenton Gipp, Jake Staab, Leslie Staab, Donald Staab and Milton Staab.

Relatives and friends from away who came for the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. John J. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Smith, David Smith, Mrs. A. C. Hart, Randy Hart, Hammond, Ind.; Walter Gipp, Gardena, N. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gilbertson, Joyce Gilbertson, Bruce Stoker, Casper, Wyo.

Mrs. Ida Groonwald, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Groonwald, Mrs. Tillie Marquardt, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kupsky, Shawano; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Staab, Donald Staab, Ruth, Linda and Steven Staab, Waterloo, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Marquardt, Leonice Marquardt, Athens.

Mrs. Mollie Marquardt, Mr. and Mrs. Erdman Marquardt, Jack and Bob Marquardt, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Serwe, Diane Marquardt, Manitowoc; Mrs. Elmer Mahs, Hebert, Adolph and Jack Tratz, Wittenberg; and Mr. and Mrs. H. Lemke, Loyal.
