RODMAN PALMER died in Waukesha, in October, 1872, whither he had gone for his health. He was widely known in the Chippewa Valley, having represented the Assembly District then made up of Eau Claire, Dunn and Chippewa counties, in 1861. He was a most estimable citizen, kind father and affectionate husband.
