Baker, Warren (15 NOV 1878 - 7 DEC 1951)

Warren Baker of Stanley passed away suddenly at 2:30 o’clock Friday afternoon from a heart attack.

Mr. Baker was born in Seymour, Nov. 15, 1878. He was married to Euphemia Smart in Stanley, at St. Mary’s Church on May 15, 1907, and they resided on a farm two miles northeast of Stanley until eight years ago when they retired and moved into the city of Stanley. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife and eight children, Paul of Wilmar, Minn.; Earl of Sheldon; Mrs. Lester (Agnes) Rademacher, Mrs. Cecil (Genevieve) Wry, Mrs. Leo (Imogene) Oberle and Edward, all of Gilman; Mrs. Richard (Rita) Brown of Pittsville, and Mrs. Rueben (Margaret) Schmidt of Dorchester; 41 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Earl of Minneapolis and Edward of California.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at nine o’clock at St. Mary’s Church with Father Ralph Geissler officiating. Interment was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
