           Winter, Ruth C.(14 March 1914 – 26 February 1988)

           Seventy-three-year-old Ruth C. Winter of 1203 Hewett St., Neillsville, died Friday afternoon, February 25 at Memorial Home.    
           She had been ill for a brief time.

           Rev. Alice Hill conducted rites on Monday, February 29, at Zion American Lutheran Church, Granton. Mrs. Margie Dahl   
           accompanied congregational singing. Relatives served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.                      Funeral Home handled arrangements.     

          Born March 14, 1914, in the Town of Lynn, to Henry and Lydia (Sauter) Winter, she graduated from Neillsville High School,         also receiving teacher’s training. She worked in the Neillsville area and later at Auto Test Corporation. She also did

          domestic work in the area for several years.       

         Survivors include a sister, Norma Marg of Neillsville; her companion, Albert Marg, also of Neillsville; several nieces and nephews.   
         She was predeceased by her parents; four b rothers, Louis, Arno, Celon and Walter; and three sisters, Ida, Della and Elnora.
