Mickett, John (20 June 1904-9 June 1983)

GREENWOOD - John Mickett, 78, Route 3, Greenwood, died Thursday morning at his home in the Town of Reseburg, Clark County.

Services will be Monday at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Olson of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Thorp, will officiate. Burial will be in East Thorp Cemetery.

He was born June 20, 1904 in Clinton, Indiana, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Julia) Mickett. He married Rose Hammerle June 31, 1927, in Clinton, Indiana. He farmed and lived in the Greenwood and Thorp areas most of his life.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Peter (JoAnn) Moskiewicz Jr., of Thorp; two grandchildren; one brother, William Sr. of Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Julie Polomski and Mrs. Mary Vrzina, both of Clinton, Indiana.
