Franckiewicz, Gustava (25 May 1924-9 June 1983)

WITHEE-- Services for Mrs. Steve (Gustava) Franckiewicz, 59, Route 1, Withee, were today at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. The Rev. John Puerner officiated, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Franckiewicz died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been admitted June 2.

The former Gustava Abramowicz was born May 25, 1924 in Lublin to Mr. and Mrs. Alex (Mary) Abramowicz. She married Steve Franckiewicz November 28, 1942 in Lublin. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Gene and Todd, both of Withee, and Thomas of Chaska, Minnesota; three daughters, Diane of Hutchinson, Minnesota, Allene of Apple Valley, Minnesota and Sharon, of Champlin, Minnesota; six brothers, John Victory of Cudahy, George Victory of Gilman, Andrew Victory of Cameron, Walter Abramowicz of Thorp, Sylvester Abramowicz of Stanley, and Edward Abramowicz of Lublin; three sisters, Mary Vnuk of Cudahy, Ann Nelson of Prospect Heights, Illinois and Amelia Halenka of Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, one son, Arthur, and two brothers.
