Gruba, James A. (10 February 1958 – 25 January 2022)

James A. Gruba, 63 of rural Stanley, died suddenly, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

He was born on February 10, 1958, in Stanley to the late Clement and Mary (Gall) Gruba. Jim grew up in the town of Worden and attended Stanley-Boyd schools. He helped on the family farm for many years. Jim loved farming, hunting and building things. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He is survived by his brother, Joe Gruba of Stanley, his sisters, Nancy (Pat) Synder of Chippewa Falls, Terri (Pat) Goad of Carlton, MN, Jean (Bill) Springer of San Antonio, TX and Margaret Gruba of Iowa and his nieces Suzie and Sarah.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church-Stanley with Father William Felix officiating. Inurnment will take place in the spring in St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Sunday at the Plombon Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church on Monday.
